Off-season is the best time to get ahead of the game. This is the time where most players don’t do anything. This is the time to go ALL IN on your personal development. You can transform your whole game and body during the summer.
TRAIN WHERE THE PRO’S TRAIN
Train in the most unique basketball gym in Belgium. The Elite Athletes Training Facility is the place where the pro’s train in the summer.
TRAIN WITH HIGH LEVEL PLAYER DEVELOPMENT COACHES
Get access to training with an unique training staff that has experienced with training over 150 pro’s, working with high level organizations such as NBA and FIBA.
HOW WILL THE WEEK LOOK LIKE?
DAILY FILM BREAKDOWNS
Watching film is crucial in developing your basketball IQ. We will daily watch breakdowns of Euroleague & NBA basketball breaking down the skills & decision making into a science.
ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT
EA partners up with Max Ivens (Go2TheMax) who is recognized as one of the best athletic development trainers for basketball players.
We will work in the summer on:
- Increasing your vertical jump
- Increasing strength, power & muscle mass
- Increase your speed, footwork & reaction time
SKILL DEVELOPMENT
The summer is the time to work on your skills. This will be some of the things you can expect:
- shooting
- finishing
- passing
- ball handling
- decision making
- basketball IQ
- learn to play with triggers
SMALL SIDED GAMES
Expect a lot of small sided games from 1vs1 up to 4vs4 where we work on skills, IQ, decision making & playing out of triggers at the same time.
WEDNESDAY & SATURDAY PICKUP GAMES
On these 2 times you have the option to rest and take a day off or come to the gym for extra pickup games. It’s open gym so no coaching, just oldschool pickup games.
SUNDAY BOOTCAMP
On Sunday we have a bootcamp for 14+ players where we combine strength & conditioning. All ages training together!
🌎 INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS The Facility (Griffinstraat 11 – Merksem) is very easy to reach from Antwerp City by metro: line 2 & 3 stop 1 street next to the gym. So if you can find a hostel, air bnb or hotel in the center of Antwerp is the easiest to reach the gym.
ADVICE: FIND A WORKOUT BUDDY it’s easier to be consistent if you got a friend who got the same mindset and drive as you.
